my first posting

It's late at night and I should be sleeping. One of my dearest friends has started her blog and it has inspired me to journal about our family. We have been busy these two weeks with swimming lessons on top of the day to day crazy schedules. Layton is doing incredibly well. Today he was diving into the pool! And to think that several weeks ago he would barely get his head wet. When he taught himself how to swim on July 4th, I knew he was ready for lessons! Now about Chloe- last week she cried through every session! She kept screaming, "I want my towel!" This week, she is laughing, floating, kicking, trying everything that is taught. It's been big fun for her this week, but when we started I really thought that it was going to be a loooonnnggg two weeks.

We are leaving for vacation on Sunday. I cannot wait to get to the mountains! Tonight when I was putting Chloe to bed, she asked me if we were going to the "mowmans" tomorrow. I said not tomorrow. She then informed that the "mowmans are next to the church" How cute was that?!

I guess that posting pictures is next... we'll see what I can get on here before we leave!
